Yuvashree 2026: Official Employment Bank & Waiting List Guide

Yuvashree Prakalpa 2026 Apply Online & Status Check

Official sources checked on 27 July 2026. Yuvashree is an unemployment-assistance scheme of the Government of West Bengal for selected jobseekers registered in the state Employment Bank. Registration as a jobseeker is the first step, but it does not mean that every registration is automatically selected for the allowance.

Current Yuvashree facts

  • The West Bengal 2026–27 Budget states that one lakh selected Employment Bank jobseekers receive a ₹1,500 monthly stipend.
  • The scheme has operated since October 2013 and aims to improve employability or help beneficiaries prepare for self-employment.
  • The official Employment Bank provides jobseeker enrolment, Yuvashree scheme documents, and waiting-list/status facilities.

Check that the address begins with https://employmentbankwb.gov.in/ before entering any personal detail. BengalEduHub has no access to Employment Bank accounts.

Employment Bank enrolment is not the same as Yuvashree selection

A jobseeker may enrol in the Employment Bank to create an official jobseeker record. Yuvashree benefits are given to candidates selected under the scheme’s current rules and published process. A valid Employment Bank ID is therefore necessary for the scheme workflow, but it is not an approval letter.

Before relying on an age, education or family-income condition copied from a blog, read the current scheme document on the official page. Government eligibility and selection instructions prevail over old summaries.

How to enrol and keep a correct record

  1. Open the official Employment Bank and choose the current jobseeker enrolment option.
  2. Read the declaration and enter the applicant’s own name, date of birth, address, education, employment status and contact details correctly.
  3. Upload or present the documents required by the current portal/Employment Exchange instruction.
  4. Save the enrolment number and acknowledgement. Do not create another account because a status update is slow.
  5. Keep the profile updated when education, contact details or employment status changes.

Never share the portal password, OTP or complete Aadhaar/bank details with an agent or in a website comment.

How Yuvashree selection and status work

Use the official waiting-list/status facility linked above. Depending on the option published by Employment Bank, you may be able to check enrolment status, the final waiting list or a new Yuvashree list. A name in a general Employment Bank database is not the same as a name in the selected beneficiary list.

If the portal asks a selected beneficiary for a declaration, annexure, bank update or periodic confirmation, complete it only through the official method and within the date stated in that notice. We do not publish a universal “every six months” rule without linking the current official circular.

Payment and bank-status checks

The 2026–27 Budget records a ₹1,500 monthly stipend for selected beneficiaries. Actual credit requires a valid beneficiary record and successful bank transfer. Check the bank statement for the account registered with the scheme; an SMS screenshot is not enough.

Yuvashree and Banglar Yuba Sathi

These are separate government schemes and should not be mixed in one application guide. The Yuvashree source is Employment Bank; follow the portal/notice for the scheme you actually applied to.

Frequently asked questions

Does Employment Bank registration guarantee ₹1,500?

No. The benefit is for selected jobseekers under Yuvashree, not every Employment Bank account.

Can this website put my name in the list?

No. Only the Government of West Bengal’s authorised process can select or update beneficiaries.

Should I submit a second registration if status is pending?

No. Use the original acknowledgement and official help/correction route unless Employment Bank specifically instructs otherwise.
